Outgoing Exchange Students

A semester abroad broadens horizons and increases your job opportunities

In order to be optimally prepared for your semester abroad, it is best to start planning one year in advance by attending the Faculty’s Go-Out information event at the end of October or beginning of November. There you will get information on our partner universities and general information on how to organise your semester abroad as well as information on financing options.

Dates and times of the country-specific Go-Out information events are published in FHWS E-Learning. Register for the e-learning course "Studien- und Prüfungsangelegenheiten/study and examination matters” and go to the section “Studieren im Ausland / Studying abroad”. You will find all important information and necessary documents/forms.
Current dates and events are published in the section "News Studieren im Ausland/News studying abroad" (at the top of the page). Please subscribe to this forum to get up-to-date information about these news by e-mail.

If you are not yet sure about studying abroad or simply curious what’s happening, do not hesitate to attend the information event – we have interesting partner universities almost throughout the world.

It is also possible to spend a semester abroad at a university that is not a partner university of our faculty. If you are interested, please contact Prof. Dr. Elke Stadelmann, elke.stadelmann[at]fhws.de (BWW and IBE) or Prof. Dr. Norbert Schmidt, norbert.schmidt[at]fhws.de (BLO and IBE).
